The subject property is utilized for the receiving, processing, temporary storage and disposal of oil-field liquids (brine). PVEDI’s Environmental Team coordinated various inspections, integrity verifications and site characterization activities to assist the client in the redesign of the facility. Historic/residual contamination was discovered during facility reconfiguration activities, including brine contaminated oils. PVE designed and implemented a remedial action plan to eliminate primary sources of contamination. To date, an estimated 6,860 tons of impacted soil has been removed. Remedial activities and facility redevelopment are currently on-going.
